A small molecule rather than a plain peptide: the ethyl ester of N-phenylacetyl-L-prolylglycine, a dipeptide with a phenylacetyl group on the nitrogen and its carboxyl esterified. Both modifications remove the charges that would keep a bare dipeptide out of tissue. No receptor target has been established in the published literature.
