A synthetic analogue of angiotensin IV: N-hexanoyl-tyrosyl-isoleucyl-(6)-aminohexanamide. The hexanoyl and aminohexanoyl groups replace peptide residues at both ends, which is what makes it far more lipophilic than the parent. The published work describes it as acting at hepatocyte growth factor and its receptor c-Met rather than at an angiotensin receptor.
