Editorial policy

Claims and sources

• An article that makes a factual claim carries at least one citation, and citations are typed by what they are — primary study, systematic review, regulator, product label, clinical guideline. enforced: an article without a source is a compile error, not a review comment.
• Where evidence does not exist, the page says so explicitly rather than filling the gap with cautious-sounding prose. “No published trial has tested this” is a finding and gets printed as one.
• Compound descriptions cover structure and mechanism only. They do not describe what a compound is for, what it treats, or what it achieves.
• Every article records when it was last reviewed, separately from when it was published, and translations go stale independently of the source.

Numbers

• Prices are a survey: a low-to-high range, from a stated number of listings, in one channel, on one date. Every one of those qualifiers is printed alongside the figure. It is not a live feed and not a quote.
• Nothing is interpolated or smoothed. Charts draw straight segments between real observations, because a curve invents prices between the points that were actually recorded. enforced
• A median is withheld below five listings. A median over three is noise wearing a number's clothes, and it is the figure people quote.
• A missing value renders as an em dash with a spoken reason, never as zero and never as a blank cell. “Not measured” and “measured, and it was zero” mean entirely different things to someone deciding whether to buy. enforced
• Search interest is a relative 0–100 index, labelled as such and never presented as a count of searches. No provider publishes absolute search volume for these terms; anyone showing you one is showing you an estimate or an invention. enforced
• Placeholder data used during development is flagged in the data itself, and any figure derived from it carries that flag through to the page. Pages built on placeholder data stay out of the search index until real data replaces it. enforced

Vendors

• No composite trust, safety, quality or legitimacy score exists on this site. A single number would imply a verification we have not performed, and would be the fastest route to a defamation claim from a low-scoring seller. enforced
• Vendor tables record only what a vendor publishes about itself — whether a certificate of analysis is published, whether a testing lab is named, whether a batch appears on the label, where it ships from. PepRack has confirmed none of it independently, and the table says so.
• We have never tested any product from any seller, and no price tier is evidence about the contents of any vial.

Commercial links

• PepRack earns on supplies and equipment only, and earns nothing on any compound. No compound seller is an affiliate. enforced
• A paid link never sits adjacent to an evidence or regulatory claim, so a citation can never appear to endorse a product. On the calculators, commerce renders only after a completed calculation and always below the safety notice.
• A paid commercial link is marked rel="sponsored nofollow"; an unpaid one carries only rel="nofollow", because calling a link sponsored when nobody sponsors it is a false statement to a crawler, carries a disclosure inside the same block rather than in the footer, and opens on a visually distinct surface. enforced
• Commission rates are published as the programme publishes them, or recorded as “not published”. They are never estimated.

What we will not publish

• A dose, a schedule, a route, a titration, or a quantity of any kind — for any compound, in any language, including inside an FAQ answer. enforced
• Any statement that a compound is safe, effective, appropriate, or worth taking.
• Any instruction for preparing or administering anything. The arithmetic pages convert between numbers you supply; they do not describe a procedure.
• Advice about which sourcing channel to use, or whether one is lawful for you.

Corrections

Write to help@peprack.com. A correction that changes a figure or a conclusion is made in the page and noted, rather than edited away silently.
