Melanotan II
A cyclic seven-amino-acid analogue of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone, closed through a lactam bridge between a lysine and an aspartate side chain rather than a disulfide. It is an agonist across the melanocortin receptor family — MC1R, MC3R, MC4R and MC5R — rather than selective for any one of them. Its metabolite is bremelanotide, listed separately here.
