Teduglutide

A 33-amino-acid analogue of glucagon-like peptide-2 in which the alanine at position 2 is replaced by glycine. That single substitution is the whole design: position 2 is where dipeptidyl peptidase-4 cleaves the native peptide. It binds the GLP-2 receptor, a relative of the GLP-1 receptor with a separate distribution.
